Just enjoyed a long conversation with the owner of Atlanta utility works Melanie. We learned about the seed capital that bought the place and enjoyed the brew by Arches brewing, while talking about the history of the Atlanta utility work building, the vision Melanie had for brewing Kombucha tea, her passion, with a recipe passed down from generations before Melanie. As you can tell, the conversation was fascinating. Arches brewing, a tenant under Atlanta utility works, Jeff an owner of arches brewing, happened by and we had a conversation with him about Arches brewing This place is nothing short of amazing. Regarding Arches brewing, the IPA; A moment in time, hazy, is not to be missed. The bar keep, Fallon, while making four bloody Mary's for the two couples in front, took our order for A moment in time and everyone was happy about the excellent service. Fallon also apologized for the kitchen not yet being open to serve lunch due to short staff, but this problem resolved after a few minutes. Our IPA and the four loaded bloody Mary's for the other two couplies keep us busy while the kitchen opened up. I had an opportunity to talk to Fallon after she had poured our IPA's and she gave me the inside info on Arches, Atlanta Utility Works, brewing in general and some history of Arches brewing. Engaging, enlightening and entertaining
