The food was very good-large portions! The lump crabcake had some breading filler, but it did have big lumps of crabmeat! The crab nachos were very good. The tuna on sourdough bread, listed under sandwiches, had lettu e and tomatoes and 5 slices of wonderful tender tuna. But only 1 piece of bread, so one bite, and all fell apart. The server was very good about telling us about the raw oysters, but didn't check on us after serving the meals when we needed drink refills and extra napkins and sauces. Normally I share pictures of my food, I forgot to take some this time. Shame on me!! The oysters were delicious, the brussel sprouts were delicious. Very nice place. Unfortunately I don't remember our server's name..she and our bartender were awesome!!! When Dimitri's International Grill announced their closure and subsequent sale for another restaurant, my wife and I both hoped that they'd keep some of the menu options. Dimitri's mezze platter and grilled shrimp were incredibly good. While Atlantic Food & Spirits kept literally nothing from the Dimitri's menu, everything we've had so far has been very good. However, the new decor is pretty tame, and, dare I say it, boring. Oddly, there's a roll-up door adjacent to the kitchen area. We know this because we been seated there both times we've been to Atlantic. It was still fairly quiet, even with a steady flow of staff and patrons passing by to the kitchen, patio, and restrooms. During our last visit, we started with the fried green tomatoes & lobster appetizer. The tomatoes were a bit too firm, but still provided a nice textural balance against the plentiful lobster and tomatoes. My wife had the short ribs again, because she really enjoyed them the first time we were there. I had the fish and chips, which were crispy, flaky, and flavorful. The aioli was kind of meh, though. I asked for some malt vinegar, which was a better flavor. Our waiter was friendly, and responsive. He apparently had table(s) elsewhere though, so we did lose him here and there. Overall, though, we enjoyed both of our visits. (And if they were to bring back Dimitri's mezze platter, I'd order it every time.)
