Es agradable aunque se escucha todo los ruidos de afuera y hay demasiada claridad al amanecer en las habitaciones aún así me gusta pero el dueño es buena persona y buena atención al cliente el bar es agradable ya hay máquina para poner música y juego de billar hay un buen ambiente

I booked a room at Audubon in May 16, 2026. I was greeted by a very friendly host by the name of Sam. He made sure if there was anything I need to be sure to ask him. I needed a spoon of all things and sure enough he located a nice, clean stainless steel one. I arrived to my room and it was immaculate. It felt so clean compared to fancier hotels. I could see under the bed, nothing creepy or dirty there! The furniture wasn't brand new, that didn't bother me in the least. It was clean. The windows were huge. The sunlight came in and was magnificent. The bathtub was wonderful, jets and plenty of hot water. It also had grab bars. How nice to relax myself after hiking at the Horicon Marsh. Loraina , who cleaned my room was very personable and helpful. If you are down to earth and not concerned about the latest and greatest. This Hotel should be a great fit for you. The older desk and wooden chair truly gave my room charm. The ONLY thing I didn't like were the plastic bottles of water. I don't like plastic at all, neither does our environment. I plan to stay here again. I found it so relaxing. I hope the new owners keep the nostalgia and simplicity of what is there now. Please, no cookie cutter side tables and chairs. In Europe this would be graded as a 1 star hotel. (I've looked up the criteria.) Positives The bed was kingsize, the bathwater was hot, the Wifi did work. Disappointments Our decision to believe the glowingly positive reviews about this hotel was wrong. Obviously we all come to a hotel with our own expectations of what is 'standard' and what is 'wonderful'. Objective observations - no meals available during our stay - no curtains, and the blinds allowed the orange glow of the street lights into the room - bed positioned such that only one side could have a bedside table - only one electric socket in a useful position (we had our own extension lead, which helped even here) - no wardrobe (instead a coat rack with hangers) and no drawers or shelves for clothes - one bedside light, on the wall, the switch for which was behind the headboard on the other side of the bed (we had to ask) - table/desk in the room about 18 inches deep - TV on the wall not well positioned for the bed or chairs Subjectively - no idea where the Google 4 star rating comes from - the hotel felt more like a hostel than a hotel - the furniture in the room was 'basic' and tick-box functional - we felt more cosy and cared for at the Hilton Hampton at which we had stayed the night before, which included breakfast, for less money Service I pushed my 'service' rating to 3 stars because when we told the staff that our heating wasn't working they did come to try and fix it and then offered us a different room.
