Even though there are so many restaurants in santa rosa, we always end up at Augies. We live an hour away, yet we are still regulars there. The best word I can think to describe the place is, unpretentious. They are great and they never pretend to be any better. Best of all, without reservations, they always manage to find us a table...and loads of free parking. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $100+ Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free parking lot

Wow! Just wow…! Augie’s French is an absolute masterpiece and Santa Rosa hidden jam. The moment you walk in, the design completely blows you away. It’s this incredibly unique mix of nature, structural elements (beams), and modern art the honeycomb off the ceiling and gorgeous butterfly wall in the dining area are total showstoppers. Even the bathrooms are sparkling clean and seriously black and white stylish. They definately didn't cut any corners here. The customer service is next-level, with an obsessive attention to detail. The manager personally greet us at the entrance, making sure our seating was perfect and doing everything possible to please us. To top it all off, thank you so much for the beautiful shell gift at the end of our meal! Such a thoughtfull, elegant touch. My daughter loved it! As for the kitchen? Outstanding. Every single dish was cooked exactly as requested. The Ahi Tuna Tartare and scallops were incredible appetizers, and the duck was cooked to absolute perfection. The Prime Burger has this unique flavor profile that completly elevates it. Oh yeah, save room for dessert! The Classic Vanilla Crème Brûlée had that perfect sugar crack, and the Brown Butter Chocolate Caramel Mousse was rich and velvety. Plus, their full bar will definately satisfy whatever drinking desire you have. Augie’s French is easily one of the best dining experiences in Santa Rosa right now. We will absolutly be back!
