The food here is delicious! Eden was our waitress (and I think she's also the owner, and maybe the cook/chef?). I ordered some kind of lamb dish and asked for mild spiciness, and Eden brought me a huge plate of fresh injera (sponge-like bubble bread) covered with perfectly spiced meat, carrots, and potatoes in the middle surrounded by smaller portions of tasty vegetables, salad, and lentils. Yummy food and a friendly, warm hostess - highly recommend! Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Large vegetarian selection

We had a pleasant experience at Awet Major! We ordered two platters for three people to share among six of us, and it was more than enough—we left stuffed with plenty of food still on the table. The server was absolutely wonderful, and the chef, who also happens to be the owner, was so sweet and welcoming. They took the time to help us choose exactly what we wanted, making sure everything was just right. The food was delicious, amazing meat and vegetable dishes, and the injera was perfect. The atmosphere was warm, and the hospitality made the experience unforgettable. We will definitely be back!
