This was our second visit to Barrel in Bnaid Al-Gar, and it certainly won’t be our last. The quality of the meat here is on another level. We ordered the Brisket dish, which was incredibly tender and packed with smoky flavor, and the Pulled Beef sandwich, which was juicy and perfectly seasoned. We paired them with their Chicken Tenders surprisingly crispy and high quality and a side of Fries that were hot and fresh. If you are looking for authentic, well-executed BBQ in Kuwait City, this is the spot. The atmosphere is great and the food is consistently excellent. Highly recommended! This restaurant is very expensive. We ordered 3 dishes and they cost me 12 KWD. The lamb chops were very small in size but they charged us 5 KWD. That’s like twice the price of other restaurants. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: KWD 5–10 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

I’ve been to Barrel multiple times, and it’s one of the few places in Kuwait that truly does justice to American BBQ. The meat is very tender, and the variety of sides is excellent. My only issue is the mac & cheese, which I think needs a bit more work. Overall, the food is great, and it’s never a wrong choice if you’re in the mood for quality meats. Highly recommended.
