First time coming for dinner and their new steak night. Nice to compare it to its downstairs sister venue at HER. While i thought the salad was tastier at HER they’re too different to compare other than a personal preference. I loved the sauces way more at BKK (and the chips were better too). So would be very happy to come to either for a steak! The oyster was also fab so happy to return again of course. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: A$20–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

As someone who travels to Thailand frequently, I’ve had my fair share of authentic Thai street food. I don’t usually expect to find that same experience outside Thailand, but this place genuinely surprised me. The flavors were incredibly authentic and instantly reminded me of eating at a street food stall in Bangkok. The difference is that here, everything is prepared with the quality, freshness, and cleanliness you’d expect in Australia. If you’re looking for real Thai flavors in Melbourne, this restaurant is absolutely worth a visit. I’ll definitely be coming back. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

From the very moment we walked through the door, BKK JJ made our dining experience unforgettable. He welcomed us with incredible warmth, genuine energy, and a massive smile that immediately set the tone for the entire night. He wasn't just managing the patrons rolling in; he was crafting an experience. JJ was attentive, highly professional, and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and taken care of right away. A restaurant can have amazing food, but it’s hospitality like BKK JJ’s that turns first-time guests into regulars. Thank you, BKK JJ, for being the absolute highlight of our evening!
