Came for dinner with just my partner the other night with no intentions to have any alcoholic beverages. We had only ordered burgers but was asked by the cashier to produce ID, despite not having ordered drinks. I had left mine at home so the cashier said I would have to go home and get it. Had to drive all the way home to get it. When I came back and went back up to the counter to produce my ID to a different cashier, i was not even asked for my ID. I ended up ordering an apple juice anyway. Was not happy that I was asked to go home and get it just to not even been IDed by another cashier once I came back. Needs to be some leniency around asking people to produce ID who literally only want food and non-alcoholic beverages. Not impressed. Cashier seemed like she did not want to be there either. Second cashier seemed a lot more enthusiastic about his job Price per person: NZ$20–30 Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 5

Alex (22) had a vivacious personality, and was most welcoming to visitors from out of town. Our golfing fraternity will be back there on Saturday to enjoy the atmosphere of the bar and the overall warmth of the staff. Price per person: NZ$50–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The young male staff serving behind the bar are very polite and friendly. Seldom you find young bar staff who are well mannered these days.Great Bar to relax and rewind !
