Organised a surprise fiftieth birthday party at the Baboush restaurant for the lunchtime set menu meal for 31 people all booked over the phone for the 4 may 2024 what can I say we was allocated the up stairs with its own private dining / bar area with plenty of room for people to move about and chat. The food & service was exceptional even catering for all dietary requirement’s the whole team couldn’t do enough for us nothing was a problem. For a first time visit we will definitely return and have no hesitation to recommend this restaurant to anyone. "No, I doesn't," I replied truthfully in the particular idiom the ol' bread knife had appeared to have chosen. "Babe - ghoulish..." she said. "I... er..." I said, unsure of how to respond. "Dontcha geddit?" she said. "No..." "What a dimlo! Ev'ryone knows 'babe ghoulish' is an anagram of 'Baboush Leigh'! You know - the actual rest'ront we're actually in! Cor, come alive, dumbo..." "Ah, yes," I said to the dear ol' thing, "I should have realised that. How slow-witted of me. How do you ever manage to tolerate me?" "It's cozza the size of your-" "More wine?" My son took me here for birthday as went before and loved it , unfortunately this time was totally disappointed table booked 8.15 ordered food approximately 8.30 and waited til 9.15 for meal to arrive only to find some of the meat not cooked through and inedible then waitress asked why we left the meat ? We explained is wasn’t cooked properly and tried to get attention to complain but was just ignored so paid the £250 bill which was very high considering we all (6) only had 1 drink each , 4 mixed grill , 1chicken shish 1surf and Turk , overpriced for food and service totally disappointed
