I had "The Wag" burger and WOW it was amazing, cooked to perfection! My special requests were accurately executed. The Wag comes with french fries and that was the one area I felt could use some improvement. They were lackluster and had that weird coating. I feel it is a huge missed opportunity there! So many restaurants have turned to making their fries from fresh potatoes right there in the restaurant. It doesn't take much to make the fries in house, and fresh made fries would have really elevated my meal. My son had the Frito pie, and enjoyed every bite. I also ordered a side of onion rings and those were very good. Our waitress was amazing, friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was high energy with patrons laughing, watching games on the large screen TVs around the restaurant, and enjoying each other's company. I can highly recommend this restaurant. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We stopped in for lunch on our way home from Dallas to San Antonio. The burger was good, and the salad was fine even though they left on the chicken for a person who’s a vegetarian. It was Cico de Mayo and they had $5 Margaritas which was great if they actually put the tequila in it. Waitress was nice but seem to be busy for a restaurant that was pretty much empty. I’d skip this place unless you want a burger it was decent. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $30–40 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Had an awesome experience at Back Porch DraftHouse in Temple, TX! The atmosphere was great, the food was fantastic, and the service was even better. Our waitress, Chelsea, went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. She was super friendly, attentive, and had outstanding recommendations—everything she suggested was spot on! You can tell she truly cares about providing top-notch service. If you’re stopping by, definitely ask for Chelsea—she’ll take great care of you. We’ll absolutely be back!
