Dovery Manor Museum es algo que no puedes dejar de visitar antes de disfrutar de una comida increíble en BakeMeCrazy. Puedes pedir unos bien trabajados brownies. Saborea despacio el excelente café que aquí sirven pensando solo en tu disfrute.

We called in to this brilliant little bakery as we were leaving Porlock at the end of our holiday. Everything on display looked lovely, so we spent probably more than we should have, coming our with a big bag of goodies!! Both the man serving and his partner in bakery were friendly and helpful, guiding us and answering our questions about what was what. I would say that the quality and originality of the baked goods was a great indicator of the hard work and effort of a night's baking!! Everything tasted brilliant! The Marmite and Cheese Bun was to die for, frankly. A relocation to our village, 4 hours north didn't seem on the cards, when I suggested it but we'll call in again, if we're down in Porlock. Try this bakery!!!

Warning! If you want to eat cakes so delicious they make any that you buy elsewhere else taste inferior, then step right in. My partner and I stumbled across this absolute gem on our holidays, and when we find ourselves back in Somerset, this is our first port of call. Every single bake is a delight, as tasty as they are pretty. (Do try the simnel cake if you’re here around Easter, to die for). With something for every kind of sweet tooth, you’ll find yourself buying more than you thought you could need, and returning again the day after. BakeMeCrazy - with all their mouth-wateringly yummo cakes and bakes (and coffee!) - is Porlock's sweetest secret...although it's always buzzing when we go there! Nikki & Sam's shop is a hub of locals and visitors alike. We go out of our way to get our BakeMeCrazy fix. Seriously, we live in NZ!! But every year, we head to the UK, and a stopover in Porlock for BakeMeCrazy is a non-negotiable. The brownies, the blondies, the cinnamon scrolls... utter drool fest.
