Sunday 12th July 2026, we are travelling from Hull to Ipswich to see family, husband and I have used the Cambridge Service station many times over the years been travelling since 7am and fancied a full English Breakfast which we bought from the FRESH store, the young girl that served us had absolutely no customer service skills what so so ever, no smile minimum interaction with us miserable and a bad attitude breakfast was mediocre at best, I know it’s service station but good customer service goes a long way Price per person: £10–20 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Excellent food at reasonable prices. (It’d be unfair to mark them down for the rather soulless atmosphere of the services area.) We both had the half cooked chicken. Coffee here is good too. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

What a gem, so different from the normal paper cups, orders made at a faceless computer screen Real people caring and able to help with the vast choices available, advise on the ingredients etc, and talk you through the vast options, buns with breakfast items, 6 8 or 10 items on a plate, fresh cooked eggs, not to mention the rolls and cakes available.
