I pre-ordered a Half Layered Durian Cendol Cake for my mum's birthday last week via WhatsApp and it was an easy and responsive transaction. The topper is an add on cost of $5 which I can recycle for many birthdays to come. There's ample parking, but might want to dodge the 4pm mark for kids karate/taekwondo class. I only have a slither section of the cake because we're due to go out for dinner for my mum's birthday. Gotta leave room for the good stuff! But it was delish for an asian inspired flavour - not too sweet, the durian is fragrant and can taste it, there's chewy bits of chendol between the layers and there's a thin layer of gula melaka agar on top. For a half layered cake, it was shared between family who don't eat a lot of cake. Ended up getting a third each. Price per person: $40–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I’ve been patronising Bakesmith for the last couple years. They are my No.1 Cake shop to go to. I would pre-order every time and travel 2 hours round trip just for their cakes! Their breads are super nice too. The best bakery in Perth! All their cakes are super soft and moist. Very tasty and delicious, not too sweet. My all time favourite are their Durian Chendol Cake and Chiffon but to be honest all their cakes are so beautiful and delicious that you just have to try them all. Service is always excellent! Online order and pickup. Bakesmith in Leeming is the Best in Perth!
