After enjoying a beautiful sunset at Galata Bridge, our group decided to walk over to this nearby restaurant for dinner, and it turned out to be a great decision. The location is very convenient, especially if you are already in the area after sunset, so it feels like a natural next stop to continue your evening. At first, we only planned to try the famous fish shawarma, which is a local specialty in Turkey. However, from the very first bite, we were all pleasantly surprised. The fish tasted incredibly fresh, with a natural sweetness that stood out right away. When combined with the spices, fresh vegetables, and soft bread, everything came together in a very balanced and flavorful way. It was simple, but at the same time very satisfying and memorable. Because we enjoyed the shawarma so much, we decided to order more dishes to try. We added seabass and some fried fish, and both were equally impressive. The seafood was clearly fresh, cooked well, and full of flavor without being too heavy. Each dish had its own unique taste, but all shared the same quality and freshness. The restaurant is located right next to the fish market, so you can actually smell the aroma of grilled seafood in the air, which makes the experience even more authentic. The food is prepared quickly, so you don’t have to wait long, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Overall, this is a perfect place to visit after watching the sunset, especially if you want to enjoy fresh seafood in a lively and local atmosphere.
