One of the worst meals I have eaten in a long time. First of all my hubby and wait 10 minutes before waitress even came to table to take our order. Then two people came in with two small dogs peeping out of what appeared to be baby slings. These were not service dogs. I love dogs but unless they are service dogs they shouldn’t have been there. Then after another 10 minutes the waitress finally takes our orders. My hubby orders cube steak with gravy, mashed potatoes with gravy, cucumber salad, pintos and cornbread. I order cube steak with gravy, mashed potatoes with gravy, deviled eggs and pintos…also with cornbread. 5 minutes later waitress comes back with food. It’s on paper plates. Really? At first we thought maybe the dishwasher was tore up…but no….our pintos were in small bowls. Strike one. That was not cube steak but rather hamburger steak that had absolutely no flavor and the gravy didn’t help. It was too think and lumpy. Potatoes had no flavor either. Strike two. My hubbies cucumber salad was put in a small paper cup like they would put a small order of fries in. I ordered cornbread..and got a roll. Hubby ordered cornbread that he couldn’t even cut in half to butter because it was hard and crumbled all to pieces. Strike three. Oh…and the waitress never returned to our table the rest of the meal to refill our drinks or anything. It has been over a year since we ate there. Had hoped it would be better but it wasn’t. Won’t be back. Howard’s would have been better. Even Cracker Barrel. Save your money and skip this place. Not worth it. I would have given 0 stars if I could have. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

At first I felt scared . Once we got in place our order. The waitress was very kind. Steve was great as well God always use me and Clayton to enjoy and encourage strangers ! Price per person: $40–50

What a hidden gem! My family and I were on our way to Fort Payne, AL from Trenton, GA and decided to take a less traveled road. What a great idea as we stopped by Country Road Cafe for breakfast. First and foremost, the staff greeted us with a level of friendliness seldom seen! Also, all the fellow patrons were very welcoming. Lastly, the food was excellent and the portions were plentiful. My family is looking forward to going back for dinner. Be sure to include a stop at this "hidden gem"! Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes
