Where do i start. The food here is to die for. I ordered the sweetcorn fritters as a starter, these thing's packed a punch full of flavour and tasted super fresh! For my main i had the Singapore chicken noodles. Best noodles i have ever had. It was mouth watering. The service was also super friendly and the food came out fast. Will definitely return when im back in Cardiff! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The service and atmosphere were great but the food needs work. Came here with three others - the good: ramen soup; the not so good: prawn chips, massaman curry and beef rendang. Two of us had upset stomachs later. Presentation was pretty but tasted off. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

We booked a table for 10 here for our birthdays. It was super easy to book online. I emailed in advance to check that there was a downstairs disabled toliet, the response was quick and helpful. I appreciated that I was contacted on the day as I get anxious so this reassured me that everything was correct with the booking. The food was lovely, everyone enjoyed and was very affordable with student discount. The service was great! A big shout out to Natalie for noticing it was our birthday meal and bringing out 2 slices of cake for us and singing happy birthday. This made it so special and was completely unexpected. It meant a lot thank you so much!! Personally, I think Banana tree is much more relaxed than Wagamamas and the seating is more comfortable and spacious. For anyone fellow neurodivergent folks I would recommend trying here next time :) I really can't recommend Banana tree Cardiff enough! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £10–20 Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend
