Was driving by and saw a newly opened korean restaurant and decided to try. Turns out it's a Japanese/Korean restaurant. We ordered the spicy seafood and tofu stew, seafood pancake, and bulgogi beef. The seafood and tofu stew was very watered down and lacked flavour. The "seafood pancake" was 90% filled with green onions and a few strands of imitation crab meat, the batter itself was thick like pizza crust. The beef bulgogi was okay, nothing special. Very disappointed, won't be going back

I frequented Ogenki Sushi for many years and driving down Main Street daily I recently noticed Ogenki was replaced by Kizuna Japanese Restaurant / Bangsang Korean Cuisine.  I wanted to check out the new kids on the block. They still have parking in the back; you will need access it through the alley. You can still enter the restaurant from the back. Upon entering my mom and I were immediately greeted and ushered to a table. I noticed the 2nd side is also used as guests were also seated there.  We were given 2 menus: Kizuna Japanese Cuisine and Bansang Korean Cuisine. After looking through both menus we ended up ordering from the Banang menu. The menu is beautifully created with nice images to showcase "Instagram" food. We ordered: - japchae: this is one delicious jappchae! Super flavourful with mushroom and beef. My mom couldn't get enough of it. - marinated beef bulgogi: came out sizzling and very appetizing. It paired well with the brown rice. - seafood pancake: good thickness, fried and yummy! The side dishes before our meal were really yummy.  We couldn't resist saying no when the server asked if we wanted more.   I am looking forward to come back soon to try other dishes from the Bansang menu. But also looking forward to try the Kizuna menu.
