Unwelcoming, unfriendly, blasé service - and mind you, all 6-8 of them while being empty To reply to the response: I came in with my 4 month old newborn. He cried because the music was so loud and there was only one other table and they were leaving. No problem, I move outside to sit in the heat instead (after expressing out loud hes crying, the music is so loud) Yet twice we order with no help at all to maneuver full hands. I struggled to push the door open, and after many attempts pulled instead, by now with too much strength. The workers immediately rushes to pet the poor door. Again, no help or acknowledgment to help your very living real guest. It’s especially eyerolling when the worker to guest ratio is domineering and you see constantly each worker taking breaks to smoke, eat chips, chill anything but actually serve. You claim this is a neighborhood bar (in which I am a neighbor) but perhaps show some genuine care toward the actual humans, guests, neighbors rather than toward your own self comfort and inanimate object could make me believe otherwise

Hi, thanks for your feedback. We're sorry you felt unwelcome, because that's the opposite of what we're trying to create. Our concept doesn't include table service: guests order at the counter and then enjoy the space freely, in the spirit of a neighborhood bar. Even so, we always want people to feel welcomed from the moment they walk in. If this wasn't your experience, we apologize and will make sure to communicate even more clearly in the future.
