A small cozy Italian restaurant that I’m reluctant to tell about. The reason? I’m selfish and want to be able to get a table easily. Delicious is always uttered by my family and I when eating at Barbatella. Super kind service. That special care that is a hallmark of Japan’s amazing culinary culture. Each dish is made with obvious love. Surprises always await. Come here, become a regular, support small businesses. They will return the favor with beautiful food and an awesome experience. Finished work and got home to my lovely son. December 25! We don’t celebrate Christmas but we eat. I needed some place close to Zushi eki, new and delicious. Barbatella came to mind as I remember passing it a hundred times. When we walked in Just the two of us was playing - a perfect song for just the two of us eating out. It felt warm and cozy and so festive at the same time, four tables for two and three counter chairs. I wanted something meety. My son likes simple meals. To my surprise there was deer braised in red wine which I ordered and to this day this is the most delicious meet I have ever had. With beans! Orange juice as a drink. Pasta with cheese for my love. Music was so good I just kept dancing in my chair. Different styles but all my favorite tunes. Highly recommended place for dates and special occasions for two! Thank you! Merry Christmas!
