So starting with food: food is very mediocre overall. we had seafood pasta, and although the quantity was generous, the quality was lackluster. Tasted very bland, no seasoning, and the seafood (squid and baby shrimps only) were overcooked and rubbery. The mechwia salad could have been better. It's evident that it's homemade, so kudos for that, bad it was not cleaned properly, and again, bland. Furthermore , summer is the season for good spicy pepper, and the saladehasd no level of spiciness, which makes me question either the chef's choice for peppers or the quality used. The seafood brik was sadly the highlight of the lunch, good seafood quantity with a runny egg as requested Finally , the shredded turkeyc was average at best. The sauce was made with canned mushrooms and too much heavy cream. The presentation : Visually, the food was not appealing the style of presentation is very old school (piece of lettuce under the food with couple roundes of tomatoes usually) The service: So this establishment is divided into 2 sections: The bar area, and the restaurant area. We sat in a totally empty restaurant area and waited over 15 min to be given a menu and rushed to give our orders. We put our order with the female chef de rang (I assume), and the wait began. A while later, a comis came over and set up the cutlery and water we ordered. We asked him to check what types of whiskey were in stock, and he said okay and disappeared. After anotber 20 min, we finally got the first half of the order, the chef de rang aplogize dor the slight delay (not very slight for an empty restaurant), and the comis came with her to help. I inquired about my request, and he got confused and didn't answer, so the chef de rang intervened and asked him to check with the bar. He came over a 3rd time to take the empty dish, i asked him a 3rd time, and he finally said they are checking. When the chef de rang came over with the rest of the dishes, she explained they only have beer, wine, and vodka. None of the somewhat extensive list of liqors and spirits are available. In conclusion: If you are looking for a place to grab a beer with some male friends, you can go there as the beer is at 4,5dt.
