Amazing beef dip sandwich! It was perfectly made and the portion was filling. It also came with a delicious soup (I chose the Thai soup). Highly recommended! I ordered it while I was at Glitch Bar. This is inside East Van Brewery. My sandwich was stellar! My side salad was basically just greens so I didn't eat it. They had trivia when I visited which made it pretty noisy to socialize but other than that it was great service. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: CA$20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Barley and Rye feels warm and inviting, the kind of place where you can relax and enjoy a proper meal. The space is comfortable and well laid out, making it easy to have a good conversation without feeling crowded. The food is hearty and well prepared. Flavors are bold but balanced, and portions feel satisfying without being too heavy. Everything tastes thoughtfully made, like care was put into each dish. The drink selection is a highlight.
