I was quite disappointed with my experience here. I have fond memories of Barrio Fiesta in Laoag City from my childhood; it was our family’s go-to restaurant for celebrations. It was also our date-night spot back when I lived in Baguio. We traveled all the way from Metro Manila to this Santa Rosa branch only to be let down. The Kare-Kare was too sweet, the meat was tough, and the serving size was small for the price. The grilled pusit was nothing special and wasn't cooked properly. The only highlight was the BBQ chicken, which was tasty and worth the price. While the staff were fast and friendly, I was further frustrated when their credit card machine wasn't working. Does not seem so special. I felt I did not get my money's worth. Karekare has2-3 meat and not so tender. Karekare sauce lacked flavor. Squid was plain inihaw, you can buy anywhere, although 3 PCs was worth it for 500isg. Same as the chicken bbq. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₱500–1,000 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Bario Fiesta SM Santa Rosa is a nice spot for Filipino food. The food tasted fresh and authentic, and the staff were helpful. The ambiance is simple and comfortable Food: 5
