My man took me out to Basil Garden for dinner about a week ago for my first time and it was amazing! I love the vibe there it’s very small, very “home-y”, decorated very cute, and the service and pricing was incomparable! We got a dessert (fried cheesecake) first lol, then we got their Yellow Curry with fried tofu (best yellow curry I’ve ever eaten hands down), and two Thai Teas (one of the best Thai teas I’ve ever gotten at a restaurant as well), the woman who took care of us and our order and our time exuded kindness, care, and love and made sure we were taken care of the entire time! The service was great, the vibes were great, the pricing and the food was great! Definitely five stars for quality and quantity and service! And on another note probably one of my favorite things of the whole experience was that she performed a selfless act of kindness and humanity during our time there; a man who was clearly going through rough times (not judging just stating the condition he was in and the act of kindness that followed) came in with only $4 stating he was hungry and that’s all he had if he could possibly get something to eat and she told him to keep his money and proceeded to give him a bag full of food. We decided to make a first time reservation, but upon arrival we were seated and left alone with eventually water & menus in a pretty much empty restaurant. We had to listen to loud takeout phone calls as the owner took endless phone orders. Empty wine boxes were piled in a corner and some kind of sauce bowls sat half empty and dried on our table. We decided to leave and feel we made a good decision. Basil Garden of Palm City may be fine for takeout & may have great food but not a good place for dining in. Snarky reply from owner. Petty & not professional. Too bad!

For dinner on a weekend you have to wait but for us it was also a good decision that he left
