All I wanted was a sandwich!!!! We walked into this place with a crave for a good sandwich. The meats looked beautiful and fresh just off the knife. Wait, I went in for a sandwich. Ok, we spent a few minutes in there without even being acknowledged. There was no Deli menu and the deli display was almost empty aside from a few poor looking deli meats. Waited and waited and the two guys there completely ignored us. We just walked out without acknowledgment, sandwiches, but with a huge craving... From now on, I will take my sandwich craving some place else.

Even though the reviews on Yelp were dated, I decided to give this place a try since it has good ratings and recently changed ownership. Big disappointment. The first time I showed up on a Friday night at 7 p.m., the two guys attending the shop had already closed down all the butchering machines. When I asked them to slice some short ribs for me, they were visually upset, and had to put everything back together. It's Friday night for crying out loud. I asked for 1/2 inch slices and got 1", making my order a lot more than what I asked for. The meat was just ok. Had to go somewhere else for wine since there selection was small and overpriced. Mediocre experience, at best. I decided to give them another chance. The next time I went I decided to buy some of their pre-packaged cuts. I bought some meat that was reasonably priced, took it home only to find that it was completely sour. It's simply smelled rotten. I was so upset I've never been back. It's also disappointing that they have almost no stock of actual groceries, not even soda. The vegetables seem to be old, with potatoes and other vegetables sprouting roots. This place seemed to be a nice alternative, & I always like to buy local, but unfortunately it seems like the slow traffic has affected the quality of their products. Too bad.
