It was a warm day and I needed something to cool off. Stopped by Beach Bowls and it was the perfect thing I needed to beat the heat. I ordered the tropical mini and it was delicious and perfect! The additional banana and blue berries made it even better. The mini size was plenty for one person. Give this local business a try! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Ok. YUM!!!!!! I really like how refreshing acai bowls are. What I dislike is how sweet they can be. Enter Beach Bowls Acai Café... they have one the "basic" that is not sweetened... score! I'm not an acai bowl connoisseur yet but, I do know what I like. I came here because I wanted something refreshing after hiking around PV. Arrived to find a sign on the door that says to call in your order (in response to COVID-19). ok, no prob. Called the number posted on the door and selected items based on the menu that was also posted on the door. The small bowl (which is not small at all) is the prefect size for me. All bowls come with granola, banana and honey/agave. The mini and small bowls allow you to pick one additional topping free of charge, you can add as many toppings as you want but only the first one is free, after that, each additional topping will run you about a dollar each. They have options for the base. The Guarana is the typical acai mix (the dark purple one) but it is sweetened. At this particular spot, you can get the "basic" which is acai mix without added sweetener... that's my favorite. I got: small basic bowl with goji berries and sprung for the additional topping of almond butter- asked for it on top (they ask because you're able get the almond butter mixed in to the acai part if you want) I like it on top better so that I can scoop up as much or as little almond butter I want per bite. Then drove 2 minutes down the street to the beach and enjoyed it there. Honestly, this place has my favorite acai bowls ever. DEFINITELY VISIT THIS PLACE!
