Friendly atmosphere, Very good tuck. We ordered fish and chips for my wife and Sausage and chips for myself. It came as three sausages which were one of the best I'd had in a long while. I saw that the menu had haggis stick too. I hadn't seen this since the 'Arvade chippy' in Whitley Bay in the 90's. I figured the fact they were serving it meant we were in for a treat. We were both surprised at how well mine went down so quick. My wife really enjoyed hers too. Foot notes. The restaurant had an upstairs dining part to it, we were downstairs with plenty of space and several tables to boot. Clean and fresh, it took about 5 mins from odering for us to receive or order. The meal set comes with a selection of side dishes and a drink. It was nice to see Durhsm going by as the people going about their business passed the window. The service was friendly and very helpful. I will make sure we'll eat there every time we visit Durham again.
