What a fantastic visit myself and friends had recently at the black bear. The value and standard of food was excellent and we were told it’s all locally sourced. Staff were incredibly friendly. Without a doubt we will be visiting again soon. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Went with another couple. Our food piping hot ( we had the same meal ). Our friends :. One had roast beef Sunday dinner -. Meat was rare which is surprising as it was not steak but a steak knife would have been useful rather than tearing the beef. The other, who ordered the chicken, could not finish it because it was overcooked, rubbery and tough. 50% off - mmm. Not worth bothering with. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1
