I was brought to Beni Restaurant by my driver, but unfortunately, the experience did not live up to expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff seemed to push the more expensive items on the menu, which was unnecessary. I’m from a country where expensive dining is common, but even we don’t see such prices in restaurants of this caliber. To keep things simple, I ordered a Coke and seafood pasta. The pasta itself was decent, but the seafood tasted strange, making the dish below average overall. It certainly wasn’t worth the price they charged. Another downside was their payment policy: if your bill is less than 3,500 MUR and you pay by card, they charge a 5% commission, which felt excessive and unwelcoming. In summary, Beni Restaurant is overpriced for the quality it offers. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re prepared to overpay for a mediocre experience.
