Not very authentic Chinese food. Quite westernised with lots of salt & sugar. Very oily. Lamb ribs excessive fat. Wont eat here again. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: A$40–60 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

Sandy Bay's Big Wong's food is excellent. It is the very best of Szechwan Cuisine in Hobart and well beyond. We are regular diners. Service is a little haphazard some times but the food makes up for any warts. The meals are large, always hot and the genuine cuisine. The wine list is substantial and includes some top drops.
