Croquets, Mero and Squid were amazing. The banana brulle desert wasn’t nice at all. Service was a bit slow. The place is nice, smelled a little bit of ethanol, but overall cozy. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €35–40 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

Creative, beautiful, delicious dishes with a touch of Portugal. That's how bichomau is, and what a great experience it was. The concept involves sharing dishes. We were 2 people and we ordered 4 dishes, following the recommendation. There was no room for dessert, but we invite you to make a second visit, to try what was not possible this time. It has a fixed menu and some dishes that vary, depending on what is fresh, local and in season. It was going with spider crab croquettes hooked, but unfortunately they weren't available. We then ask: - Wakatum - a fresh, colorful tuna tartare with crunchy wasabi - Haze - described as potato, ham and egg foam. It had everything we could want: sublime creaminess from the potato (and maybe cheese?), crispy and salty ham, and an amazing egg to tie it all together. I was capable of repeating this one, I wanted more, it was mar-vi-so. - Inominable - spider crab, shrimp, BT egg and beurre blanc. It had to be. I lacked the spider crab for the croquettes, so this request left no doubt that it had to be ordered. And what a good decision! Accompanied with toasties, spider crab, egg and sauce were well mixed, and it was sweet and tasty. - To the end came, in my opinion the best. I'm a meat person, and thus came "The Pig". Alentejo pork roast, thin, fresh, with brioche and leaves, and a smoked paprika mayonnaise (if it wasn't mayonnaise, forgive me, but I think so!). How wonderful. This is the dish that, even if I go back, I'll have to order again. The price, with two glasses of wine, was around €40/person, which is fair for the quality and experience that bichomau offers us. The atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed. The staff and chef, always close by, are very careful in explaining the menu, the dishes, and talking about their ingredients. A very positive balance, a little pearl in Campo de Ourique! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €40–45 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
