Excellent service, really amazing staff! Chicken and wild rice was top notch, and the trout dish exceeded the hype. Really liked the space and decor. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner

Get the trout. Get the Bison. Shoot… order the whole darn menu. You can’t miss. Sidebar: there was an elderly gentleman dining here that shouted at us for ‘being too loud’. Apparently he had told off another guest as well before that. The comp professionalism the staff had in handling the unfortunately better customer was exceptional. It’s rare you find people who are exceptional at maintaining their calm and poise, while delivering an exquisite dining experience. I will make it a point to eat here every time I am in Bozeman. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $70–80

Some restaurants are worth recommending. Bitterroot Bistro is worth planning a trip around. We celebrated our anniversary here, and from the moment we sat down, Adriana made us feel genuinely welcomed. She offered thoughtful recommendations that fit what we were looking for—never pushy, just knowledgeable and spot-on. Every course impressed us. The Bison Tartare and Trout Dip were the perfect way to start the meal. The Bison Tenderloin was, without question, the best thing I ate on our entire trip. It was incredibly flavorful, perfectly cooked, and one of those dishes I'll be thinking about for a long time. My husband ordered the Trout Filet, and days later he's still talking about how amazing it was. I agree. We paired dinner with an IPA from MAP Brewing, and it complemented the meal perfectly. To top it all off, the staff surprised us with a lavender cheesecake for our anniversary. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made an already memorable evening even more special. Hands down, this was the best meal of our trip to Montana. In fact, Bitterroot Bistro would be one of the biggest reasons we'd travel back to Bozeman.
