Gorgeous location, tasty food and very reasonable prices for overlooking the castle. The cokerme kebab was yummy and the sea bass only 800tl with no added service. Not sure why it's not rated much higher. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₺1,000–1,200

I hate leaving bad reviews but feel that buyers need to beware on this one. When we were seated, we came to realize this restaurant had a poor Google rating and asked staff if this was indeed their establishment. Staff assured us that their restaurant was under new management and had a new chef, so no worries. We really wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt. However, everything was great until the bill came. We got charged DOUBLE for the sea bass than what the menu stated because, according to the senior waiter, we ordered “wild” fish that was not on the menu and the menu reflects “farmed” fish. At no point was this communicated, neither on the menu nor verbally by the waiter. Several staff members even asked us for a positive review before we got the bill. Trust the Google rating on this one, this place is unethical. Also, note this restaurant is directly adjacent to Starbucks, the location on Google maps is slightly off. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₺2,000+

This was one of the most frustrating dining experiences I’ve had in Bodrum. The afternoon started well enough, as we were greeted by a friendly gentleman at the door. Unfortunately, everything went downhill from there. The service was incredibly slow, and we waited an unreasonable amount of time for our food to arrive. The fish soup was actually quite good and was probably the highlight of the meal. However, the rest of the food was disappointing. My wife’s burger was dry, the bread seemed stale, and the meat was overcooked. I ordered the shrimp pasta expecting a cream sauce, but it arrived with a red tomato-based sauce instead. As it wasn’t what I had requested, I sent it back. To make matters worse, we were charged 300 Turkish Lira for butter, which felt excessive and was never clearly explained. The final insult came when the owner chose to charge my card in British Pounds rather than the local currency. This resulted in an unnecessary foreign exchange markup of around 3%, costing me even more money. Good fish soup and a friendly welcome can’t make up for poor service, disappointing food, unexpected charges, and questionable payment practices. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t return or recommend this restaurant. Price per person: ₺2,000+ Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
