Last 30 June was my 3rd time dining at this place. It was also the 2nd time I brought in friends with me for them to try the food served in Blaze Resto Grill. The food selection offered by Blaze is wide and satisfactory. However, I noticed that Blaze doesn't care anymore if the food they serve are good or not. In beef entrees like Kare-kare and Bulalo, the meats are tough, and could, in my humble opinion, use a good 10 to 15 minutes more of pressure cooking. This observation is shared by my other friends who also tried Blaze's beef entrees on their own separate visits. On my last visit, the cauliflower in their Chop suey also appeared to be old stock and on the raw side, while the carrots, etc. were fine, surprisingly. Also, we ordered Fried Butter fish (with mango/onion garnish). We were served fried Bangus. Blaze's chicken inasal is not as tasty as inasals offered in other restaurants, like Aling Inasal. It also needs a few more minutes of cooking. Blaze has an on-duty Floor Manager, but for what? He cannot even zero-in onto the restaurant's shortcomings. Also, last time, I asked him for our bill, and he told me to go to the cashier. If you enjoy listening to live music while dining/eating, Blaze features some very good singers backed up by equally very good bands. Ms. Michelle Calumba's singing, be it with a live band or not, is my favorite, I have to say. However, if you are looking for really deliciously-prepared food, with quick and proper service, I would suggest you try your luck somewhere else. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4
