Probably more of a 3.5, but will give it a 4 purely for the food. Food is great, well priced for the quality. Definitely the highlight of the place. Atmosphere is arb. It's clean and clinical. No music, or distinct personality and although there is a great view the restaurant itself is not memorable. Service was attentive enough not to be average, but again our waitress was just ok. No real personality. The waiter serving the table next to us was really useless. Lastly parking is an issue. So be prepared to walk. So a mixed bag. I will be back for the food, but other than that pretty boring. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

We had a wedding at the Blowfish restaurant, so catered for many people on the 2nd November. It was a 3 course menu. The atmosphere was perfect and gorgeous but after the canapés I ended up running up and down the stairs to throw up? The main meal was tasteless and not up to Blowfish/a wedding standard. Not sure if I got food poisoning or what the reason is that I fell ill and had to leave my best friends wedding due to throwing up all the time. I put my main meal in a takeaway box before having to rush home. When I then tasted it the following day, it tasted like hospital food, no flavor, blan and not suitable for wedding food. The staff was extremely attentive and lovely service. Not at all happy with the quality of the food we were served. Referring to the main meal in particular. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: R 500+ Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Parking space: Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options: Free of charge street parking

Terrible. I will NEVER go there again. Long wait time +- 45mins despite only being the 2nd group of customers in a almost empty restaurant. Baby Kinklip was under cooked. Service was absolutely appalling - I constantly needed to go look for the waitron, Audrey, and at one point went to go fetch my own cutlery. She had the audacity to ask me to taste what was clearly undercooked translucent flesh of the fish. The incident was poorly managed. I was offered a replacement dish which I took as a takeaway, just to get out of the place as I was feeling sick - this meal turned out just as bad. My son who had the calamari and prawns complained a few hours later to me of the onset of food poisoning. Maybe it was just one off day, but for me, too many things were wrong and poorly managed. Avoid!
