This restaurant and Saint Josaphat's Church can be both really attractive for tourists. Good grilled chicken salads are offered to try here. Nice wine is served at Blu Bar & Grill. The staff at this place is amazing and always ready to answer questions about the menu. This spot is known for its fine atmosphere. However, you should pay attention that many Zomato users rated this restaurant below average.

Excellent. Very nice atmosphere, loved our food. I had blackened steak on mac and cheese, best steak I have ever tasted. My companion had fried chicken and thought his was excellent as well. Staff was very friendly.

Poor Quality for the money. Had a Christmas Party at this location for a group of 24 last nigh,12/4/14 .The buffet food was of poor quality especially the sliced beef, which was tough. Kraft Macaroni and Cheese would have been of greater cheese content then Blu's. The fish was acceptable. The best part was dessert, cheese cake, which was not made by them as indicated by the quality of it.

The owners husband was abrupt and nasty when asked for assistance setting up and additional table.

I will NEVER return to this establishment.

Low class with "upscale" pricing. I have never written a review on anything but feel the need to do so after my experience. First there was a $10 cover charge for a band. Second, they were out of Malbec. Next, I was served a lemon drop shot in an oversized plastic cup with no lemon. The calamari was greasy, awful! Security took their job way too seriously by chasing me down the stairs to make sure I had paid to see the band, which I did. My boyfriend was not allowed to go downstairs and say goodbye to friends because he had ordered a salad to go and food was not allowed downstairs. In short, horrible service, over priced to be chased down by security and be given drinks in a plastic cup. I'll stick to my east side businesses if this is how your treated in Gates.
