We called in after the disappointment of the other pub we visited that day to find the blue bell inn was warm and welcoming towards our dog we were greeted by friendly staff. We ordered our food and drinks and it wasn't long before our food arrived pipping hot and tasting excellent. We both enjoyed our meals and would recommend the blue bull inn. For great food and wonderful staff. Price per person: £20–30 Recommendation for vegetarians: Somewhat recommend Vegetarian options: Not a great selection of veggies meals but what we had was very nice Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free parking lot

After dining here for many years was so looking forward to a meal. So disappointed. The batsman’s ale and wine in small bottles was spot on but the poor menu was really not very good. The chips and fish had been fried in old oil. The pulled pork was not good but the bit of salad was lovely and fresh. Shrieking children running past and climbing on bar stools to get to the bar was off putting.
