I honestly don't understand how this place doesn't have a five-star rating. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and exceptionally clean. Most importantly, the food was outstanding--everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. We enjoyed our meal so much that we even ordered additional items to take home. This was an excellent dining experience, and we will definitely be returning. My husband and I went here for the first time today and we got an order of the taquitos, surf & turf burrito and a peanut butter milkshake. Let me say the food was delicious and the peanut butter shake was delicious! We will definitely be going back. The restaurant wasn’t busy today and it was so clean definitely a plus. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This is a chill restaurant. I really like that the food was adequate price for what you want and good portions. Also on that note you don’t leave feeling tired, full and like groggy . For example, there is the fish restaurant across the street miches la Baja and they also have like combo meals, which are similar price but cheaper however they’re heavy like I want to put emphasis on like heavy because then you’re getting like fried fish tacos and a little bit of rice and a little bit of Bean whereas at Blue burro you’re getting a large bed of rice topped with a good portion of protein. For me a student there is a difference between price and feeling good after being able to study and head focus and it doesn’t mean a hot pocket won’t get me through the day because there’s nothing wrong with hot pockets! It just means that if I wanna be purchasing a restaurant, I wanna be smart about how I eat. I got the surf and turf so I got a large portion of carne Asada, which was so good and it was a lot for me and it was topped with shrimp and then it came with guacamole a lot of it it came with pico de gallo a lot of it there was more things included like corn cotija cheese , like I said, it’s the little things which I appreciated. I came cause I wanted something like the California bowl from Rubio‘s and this did it for me, especially it’s close to school and their drinks weren’t heavy like the place across the street has a lot of concentrate and stuff they don’t even have real Horchata, but this does and has like fresh fruit juice it’s light it’s not heavy . So I got like a pineapple juice and total it was like basically $20 I told him to keep the change, And honestly, like as a student with this type of food, you just wanted to be prepared correctly And cooked correctly and this is exactly what they did ! Also, I like the vibe of this place. It’s like retro Latin music playing nice vibe. The workers are nice this place definitely should remain like a staple of one of UCR’s convenience locations for Mexican food and drinks! Also they have like 5 sauces to choose from for free and let me say that is a blessing in disguise kudos to them ! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
