Every dish had excellent layers of flavor, and they had a very good wine list. It’s an Intimate setting in an old hotel with a wonderful community story. Reservations recommended, we got lucky but seemed like spots were usually a bit limited. Price per person: $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

One if the most enjoyable dining experiences I've ever had. The food selection, delivery, presentation and quality was simply Goldilocks... I would not change a thing ... What you might envision for menu items comes out better than expected and just right. The view is nearly unparalleled. Price per person: $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We always look forward to dinner at Blue but this time was a disappointment. Our server was all business which is fine but a little friendliness would go a long way. We ordered a first course - warm lobster salad - which was fantastic. We also ordered a second course - seafood chowder. Unfortunately it came to the table the same time as the first course and was underwhelming - little flavor, could have benefitted from a bit of salt but no salt or pepper on the table to try and flavor it. At this point we could have used a second cocktail but were never asked until after our entrees arrived. Our main course -both specials for that evening - were Filet Oscar and Scallops over risotto. The filet came our medium rare as requested but the crab meat and hollandaise sauce were cold. Not even a bit warm. The scallops were warm at best and the risotto undercooked with still some crunch. We sent both back but upon return they were hot but the filet now overcooked from the medium rare. Guess the microwave will do that. At this point, our server was obviously not happy with us. We had to ask for water for the third time. We elected to have our dessert on the porch. The chocolate cake was very good and the view spectacular. Pass on the espresso martini if you are tempted - not worth the $. Overall, we were so disappointed after looking forward to celebrating a birthday with the meal/experience. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 5

Amy - apologies for the belated response. i am sorry that you did not have a great experience with us on this evening and I wish i would have been able to address your concerns while you were with us. There are a number of service steps that we missed. I can assure you we don't use the microwave for warming but regardless, we failed you. Please do consider joining us again in the future; we'd like to have a chance to delight you.
