Best wait staff ever!! Delicious food...both breakfast and lunch. If you leave here hungry...it's your own fault!

Beware, if you complain about anything, you will see the true colors of this owner. This is the type of place that will spit in your food. Totally unacceptable. I gave a 3 star review after being told they did not have a condiment that was later given to another table right in front of me. No explanation was provided. After my review the owner corrected me that it was the manager (his wife) who mishandled this, not the owner, then proceeded to tell me they reserve condiments for certain customers. I think I was owed an explanation at the time, but he saw that differently. The next time I came in, he saw me and ran to the back after we ordered. To do what??? We were the only table he never asked how everything was. I was afraid to eat my food, and will not be back.

My dining experience at the Blue Ridge Diner in Floyd, VA made me wish I lived there so I could become a "regular". The owners and staff were superb. This small-town diner is small but has plenty of seating. When my husband and I each ordered a short stack of pancakes, the waitress smiled and quietly asked if we'd ordered them before, explaining they're very large, which I appreciated as a customer. Many places don't bother to try to save you money by hinting that sharing a plate might work -- but we each ordered our own. When delivered, the two DELICIOUS pancakes were truly plate-sized, and all we could do was smile at each other. (My only wish would've been to have maple syrup as an option.) The bacon was some of the best I've ever had. It was a good quality and cooked perfectly. On our way out, I bought a sticker to remember our time there. It was such a good memory from our trip.
