Lovely pub, Danny & his staff keep this place immaculate, no plates or glasses left on tables after customers have finished so the tables are always ready straight away. One side is dog friendly which we’ve used before with our own dog, and again this is always clean and tidy. The open plan of the pub gives it a nice airy feel, so when larger parties are in it never feels cramped. The outside seating area is next to the carpark but it’s well maintained with plenty of seating and there is a small courtyard area so you can eat outside. Food here is of a good high quality and there’s plenty of it, yes the portion sizes are generous so take a good appetite with you, we’ve never been able to fit 3 courses in. Average amount to choose from and a specials gives a good range, simple ingredients that’s not faffed about with and cooked well, we’ve tried most things on the menu and haven’t been disappointed yet, if the chicken balti is on the specials we always have that, a delicious thick sauce with chunks of tender chicken, peppers and onions served with fluffy rice and naan. My go to favourite is the Bluebell burger, with bacon and bbq sauce, comes with good amount of salad, coleslaw, huge onion rings and fries. My other half generally has steak and as he’s not a salad fan he always asks to change things about and to be fair the chefs aren’t precious about it, they would rather see a plate go back empty knowing that person has enjoyed their meal, than have food wasted. So drop in and give this place a try if you want good hearty traditional pub food, served by friendly happy staff. They do cater for small and large parties so it’s probably always best to phone ahead for a table. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This was our 4th visit to dine at the Bluebell and probably our last. We both had the steak pie which has been excellent on previous visits but on this occasion the end of the pie crust was that hard my knife could not penetrate it and parts of the steak were unchewable. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: £20–30 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot

We had a Sunday lunch takeaway today and it was absolutely fantastic! We was given plenty, and the quality was excellent as always. We’ve eaten in many times and have never been disappointed, and the takeaway was just as good. Everything was delicious, well prepared and plentiful. We’ll definitely be ordering again whenever we’re unable to eat in. Highly recommended! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
