I recently visited Bobbin Inn Cafe and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. The food itself was quite bland and lacked flavour across most dishes. More concerning, 2 out of the 6 plates we ordered had hair in them. When we raised this with staff, they did attempt to resolve the issue by offering a drink or ice cream for the kids, which was appreciated—but it didn’t fully make up for the situation. The cafe itself feels a little dated and could really benefit from a refresh, both in terms of the space and the menu. Improved hygiene standards are definitely needed. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and polite throughout, which made the experience slightly better. Overall, with some updates and attention to cleanliness and food quality, this place has potential—but in its current state, it falls short. Great place with fresh food, generous servings and a lovely outdoor seating area with shade umbrellas. Healthy meals with always a couple of vegetarian options plus your traditional menu items such as hamburgers and fish and chips etc.

I am a frequent visitor because of super friendly attentive staff and yummy big breakfast! The price is excellent as my husband and I share a large meal !!! Coffee also good and I love the quirkyness of the building not to mention fabulous location!
