Ordered the egg burger sandwich and took a bite before I noticed some grey stuff and realized it was permeating throughout. Don’t know what it is but I did not eat it. Won’t be coming back here again. I legit have never seen something like this and I have no idea what it could be. It’s a fried egg so I assume they saw it while cooking or.? Anyway. Bad experience. Hi Angie, we’re sorry that you had this experience. Our eggs are baked, not fried, so when the egg stays longer in the oven, or in higher heat, it can cause the yolk to look grey. Nice little café located in Griffintown. The pop decor is amazing. I had a moka and a café (with a few donuts to go), everything was good. They also sell merch items such as cups and hoodies, and a few stuff that you would find at a bodega! I was curious so I bought the Cheetos Kraft dinner to try at home with my kids. The service was amazing, they have some of the friendliest baristas :) Oh and Bodega MTL also has a patio. I strongly recommend if you're in that area.
