Attempted to make a reservation on the website an evening in advance for an otherwise mundane Thursday. The website said they would call or email to confirm. The next day, having not heard anything from them with less than two hours til when I wanted a table at, I'd still not heard from them. I tried calling no fewer than eight times, spread across about 15 minutes. No answer, any time. Better yet, their phone voicemail inbox was full, so I had no way of contacting them, directly or otherwise. So be it. I'll go to one of the million other restaurants in this city. Service: 1

That likely means we were already fully booked for the time you were requesting. We apologize if the lack of confirmation caused confusion. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent experience at your establishment, which occurred during a birthday celebration for a friend. This was my third visit, and unfortunately, it was the most disappointing. To start, the service provided by our server, George K., was subpar. He took a considerable amount of time to take our order, and when our appetizer arrived, it was cold. Upon expressing my concern, George informed us that the chips were indeed cold, but he did not apologize or attempt to rectify the situation. His dismissive attitude was alarming and unprofessional. Additionally, one of my friends ordered a steak cooked medium, but it arrived well done and extremely dry. She chose not to take it home due to its unsatisfactory condition, and we left half of it untouched. Moreover, the chicken Alfredo we ordered had an unpleasant tangy flavor, which further added to our negative experience. Throughout our visit, we were disheartened to witness a lack of attentiveness not only from our server but also from the kitchen. Given that management fees and gratuity were automatically added to our bill, we expected a much higher standard of service and food quality. It appears that George may have been having an off day, but I urge you to address these issues with your staff and your kitchen team. Proper training in customer service and culinary standards is essential to maintaining a satisfied clientele. This experience has left me feeling that it may be my last visit. Went for breakfast/ brunch. No tea or coffee, just tequila Omelettes were supposed to be veggie. Asked what veggies & were given a list which we chose a few. Came with just onions & mushrooms, missing everything else that was to be in them. Breakfast burrito was good. Bodega burger was obviously not fresh ground beef, but a frozen patty. Ordered medium well & it was very rare, at best. Cheddar cheese was cheddar sauce poured all over. ‍ Won’t be back. Sorry Bodega bar & kitchen Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

We’re sorry the preparation wasn’t to your liking that day. Regarding the omelette, you’re absolutely right that it should have included the vegetables you selected. Our kitchen made an error, and we offered to replace the dish immediately, but we understand you chose not to have it remade. As a gesture to make things right, we applied a friends-and-family discount to your check. We never want any guest to leave disappointed, and your experience falls short of our standards.
