Coffee Bon has two big things going for is. First, it opens EARLY. I was there at 7:15, but I think they open at 6:30. Very useful for busy morning people. Second, the morning set is a bargain. Toast, boiled egg, drink and pasta salad: ¥400 (March 5, 2026). You can’t find that price almost anywhere anymore. The downside is the smoke. Smoking is allowed and every customer except me was smoking the day I was there. I don’t mind but some will. Also, most of the customers seem to be regulars and locals, so you *could* feel a bit like a foreigner. Since I AM a foreigner (American), it doesn’t bother me a bit.
