We really enjoyed our meal. The food was delicious and the service was not notch. Nice view over the town square from the outside balcony. Great Friday lunch deal . Definitely worth a visit. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $60–80

Bootleg dining conveniently located in the heart of Bathurst inside a charming historic building, with regal style decor. Offering a range or European style cuisine. Paired with local breweries and impressive cocktails. Along with a sophisticated wine list, Staff are very friendly attentive and knowledgable, having a great experience customer service wise from start to finish. Both indoor and outdoor dining areas both great options. Clean and beautifully presented bathrooms. Very impressed. The food. Made to share. The charcuterie board, firstly, the amounts are in 3’s inside of 2’s or 4’s the cold cuts however were tasty and flavoursome along with the bold flavoured hard cheese garnished with decorative baby peppers. Served with house made perfectly toasted bread, the real catastrophe was the pate, portion sizing, flavour consistency presentation, clear flavour difference between the top half of the pate and the lower half, the top was bold and edible however the lower half was unbearably overpowering and acidic could not even finish leaving a burning sensation in your nose. I found the charcuterie board a little bit of a letdown could’ve used with some olives or smaller options rather than large chunks of cheese and pate and odd amounts. The zucchini flowers were lightly added fluffy and a great for a light starter, The beef Tartare presented well. Portion size was great however lack flavour along with the chips being way too salty. Well suited for a upper market style date or get together, A little more on the expensive end of the price especially the locally sourced steak which personally put it off. Other the that would recommend while in Bathurst, On street parking or close by car parks with a short walk, Stairs access. Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $100–120
