Sensational restaurant, friendly, polite, very nice, with a quick saying, very attentive, remember who has allergies etc. Celebrated my sister's wedding there, everything went great. The staff is so attentive, you don't feel like it's a restaurant, it's like eating in the kitchen at home, great only regional food, nothing imported great. Your wishes will be taken into account and dishes will be prepared accordingly. While "Bornheimer Ratskeller" makes me think of a dusty, dark, narrow, rustic restaurant in the basement, the on-site visit (or the photos) tells me otherwise: a very large dining room with plenty of space between the tables, pleasantly discreet Furnished, open kitchen, large outdoor space, professional appearance of the service staff - everything was wonderful. The menu is quite clear and changes very often, so anything you find online is probably already out of date. During our visit we decided on, among other things, an asparagus dish, and the rest of the food is mainly German-bourgeois (blood sausage, hand cheese, wild garlic risotto, ...). In the external communication, the producers in particular are presented, which we liked. Our food tasted excellent, although the portions could have been larger. The prices aren't cheap, but they're okay for what's on offer. The toilets were very clean. Parking: Directly in front of the restaurant, public.
