Not bad! The ambiance is the best part and the drinks were great. Lovely location as well looking out onto Rittenhouse Square. Food wasn’t bad but portions were a bit small for how much you pay. The lasagna was delicious though! Service was fine. I would definitely return to try other things on the menu. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5 Wheelchair accessibility: There is an elevator!

After seeing a range of mixed reviews, I held off on visiting Borromini for several months—but we ultimately decided to give it a try for brunch, and I’m glad we did. The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the brunch menu offered a nice variety. We sampled a few pastries, the eggs carbonara, and a couple of other dishes—all of which were well-prepared and enjoyable. We were seated upstairs, which provided a quieter setting and a lovely view of the square—definitely a highlight of the experience. While Philadelphia has no shortage of exceptional Italian dining options, and I’m not certain I would seek this out for a truly authentic Italian experience, Borromini delivers a solid, pleasant meal in a relaxed atmosphere. Combined with its excellent location, it makes for an enjoyable and worthwhile visit. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $30–40 Parking space: Somewhat difficult to find parking
