Pedimos una mesa junto a la ventana. La respuesta fue que estaba todo reservado y estaba todo vacío. Comimos en una hora y el restaurante siguió vacío. Aun así, la chica fue muy amable.

What an absolute gem of a place. We stopped into Bovine while visiting Portlaoise and it ended up being one of the best meals we've had in a long time. The burger was honestly one of the best I've had anywhere. Perfectly balanced, incredibly juicy, crispy where it needed to be, loaded with generous, smoky bacon, and full of flavour without relying on mountains of unnecessary lettuce or fillers. Every ingredient had its place and worked together perfectly. You can tell a lot of care goes into what comes out of that kitchen. We couldn't resist dessert afterwards and it was every bit as good. We left in the happiest food coma imaginable! The restaurant itself has gorgeous rustic character that feels completely authentic rather than trying too hard. Add to that brilliant music, a lovely atmosphere and genuinely friendly, welcoming staff, and the whole experience was just spot on from start to finish. We can't wait for our next trip to Portlaoise, and honestly, Bovine is reason enough to make the journey. Highly, highly recommend! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch
