What started as a visit for a traditional English-style meal turned into one of the most pleasant dining surprises we've had in Muscat. Braw offers a unique combination of Scottish influence, Omani hospitality, and authentic Desi flavors, creating an experience that feels both distinctive and welcoming. From the moment we entered, the atmosphere was warm, comfortable, and inviting. We began with their signature smash burger, and it was outstanding. The burger was juicy, flavorful, and clearly made with great attention to detail. One thing that really impressed us was their commitment to preparing everything fresh and in-house. They proudly focus on handmade, slow-cooked food rather than fast food, and the quality truly reflects that philosophy. The biggest surprise, however, was their extensive Desi menu. From freshly prepared naan and rice dishes to rich butter chicken and flavorful paneer gravies, every dish we tried was authentic, satisfying, and packed with flavor. We also sampled their pizza and pasta, both of which were equally impressive and demonstrated the versatility of their menu. The name "Braw" means "excellent" or "great," and after our experience, we can confidently say that this restaurant lives up to its name. Very disappointing hot dog so far I’ve had in Muscat city. Started with the poor service while placing the order at the counter of which she came twice with follow up questions at our table. When we got the order it just came with the buns and sausage and no sauce which was given separately. Options for the sauces were not that great including no mustard sauce which was asked at the counter. Not everything is bad but have to say the fries were good. For the item ordered for bone in chicken wings ended up being boneless. Just sharing our personal reviews dining at the restaurant and hope this is not the experience for the next person sharing the review. Hi Pearl,Apologies for your experience — that’s certainly not the standard we aim for, as our hot dogs normally receive great feedback.I’ll look into this with the team, including the sauces, as consistency is really important to us. We do keep a selection of sauces on the tables as everyone has different tastes, but I’d really like to understand what went wrong on this occasion.Do you remember which hot dog you ordered — the basic one or the fully loaded version?I’d love the opportunity to make this right. Please let me know next time you’re coming in, as dinner will be on me. Visited Braw Food yesterday and absolutely loved it. The smash burger was brilliant, and I really liked that everything is made in-house. The peach iced tea was tasty and refreshing, and the staff were so welcoming and accommodating. Really good vibes overall! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: OMR 4–6
