Ordered one of their last few pretzels remaining. Initially tried purchasing it with a North Market giftcard but that conveniently didn't go through. After purchasing the pretzel I asked if they could heat it up, to which the employee simply said no because she had already cleaned the oven (this was 40minutes before closing time). The pretzel was cold, stale and lifeless. Flavors were nonexistent. Paying full price for such a disappointing experience only made it more frustrating. Food: 1 Service: 1

First, we will follow up with the appropriate channels to see if there is an issue with the north market gift card processing. Second, we will follow up with the team for some additional coaching regarding warming pretzels. You are right; pretzels can be warmed up until closing. I probably should have realized the pretzels were cold and asked if they could be warmed up, but I just didn’t think they’d serve ready to eat pretzels like that. They were really chewy to the point of not of me wanting to finish them. Jalapeño had the best flavor; cinnamon sugar was not good at all. Lesson learned. Maybe ask if they will heat it up for you and hopefully they are better. I also was surprised that there isn’t a huge variety. It’s a small variety (6 or so) but I was expecting more so that I could get a lot of twisty pretzels to sample. At 3:30 pm on a Saturday it appeared they just didn’t want to make anymore and wanted to sell what was made. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Hi Katie, we sell our pretzels the traditional Bavarian way, but are happy to warm pretzels up anytime. I’m sorry you were disappointed with the cinnamon sugar pretzel. Hopefully you’ll give us another chance. Thanks for your feedback.

I have been coming to Brezel for years and they are my favorite pretzel place ever! They make traditional Bavarian style pretzels which means they dip their pretzels in a lye bath before baking them. This process creates the signature pretzel crust on the outside of the pretzel but leaves the inside soft and fluffy. They are also traditionally served at room temperature. If you prefer a warm pretzel just ask them to warm it up and they are more than happy to do so! (I learned all this info from talking to the staff who btw are the sweetest humans alive) They have sooo many different flavors that they rotate between throughout the year. My newest favorite is their Hot Honey & Colby Jack pretzel. It is TO DIE FOR. Yesterday I had their weekend specialty pretzel which was Strawberry Habanero. It was SPICY with the perfect amount of sweetness! Soooo yummy! I also recently learned that they can do bulk or specialty orders if you have a party or just want a ton of pretzels you can call or email them. They also mentioned that they love to make other shapes. (I’m planning on ordering a specific shape for my sisters bachelorette party if you know what I mean ) I cannot say enough good things about Brezel. If you’re ever in the area, make sure to stop by and get a pretzel. You won’t regret it!!
